NY JETS GAME TICKETS – DECEMBER 1ST – MEET THE PLAYERS – Limited Tickets

Robert Jacobson Sports Foundation and the New York Jets have connected to provide an incredible experience for our RJS athletes and parents.  By purchasing your ticket to the Sunday, December 1st game your athlete will be able to watch the New York Jets play the Seattle Seahawks.   Prior to the game you and your athlete will be able to take part in a NY Jets player walk through. The player meet up will start early in the morning (Time to be determined).  After the player walk through, we will have the opportunity to tailgate before the game starts.

Last year we had over 200 RJS participants – this year we have only 150 tickets.  Please register early – first come first served.

Seats will be in upper deck between the 30 and 50 yard lines.

NFL FLAG is the premier youth football league for boys and girls in grades Pre K-High School. The program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact, continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork, sportsmanship, commitment and self discipline. 

The RJS NFL Flag Football regular season begins September and ends the first weekend in November.  Games will be played  on weekends and some weeknights under the lights. Coaches will conduct practices based on their availability.

IE: ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL GRADES PLAY IN DIVISION.

NO REQUESTS FOR PLAYERS TO PLAY WITH FRIENDS. SIBLINGS IN THE SAME DIVISION WILL BE KEPT TOGETHER AND PLAY ON THE SAME TEAM. NO REQUESTS WILL BE TAKEN.

Weekend Schedule:

September 7/8th: Regular Season Games Begin (Uniforms will be handed out before game time)

October 26th: Start of Playoffs (Top 4 Teams In Each Division)
October 27th: 2nd Round Of Playoffs or Championships (depending on division)

November 2nd: Championships (depending on division)
November 3rd: Championships (depending on division)

Spectators are not allowed on the playing field prior, during or at the end of the game.

RJS has a zero tolerance policy for bullying, fighting, abusive, and unsportsmanlike behavior by Coaches, Spectators and Players. RJS administrators have the right to suspend/ remove from the league – these offenders at any time.  No refunds will be given to suspended or removed offenders.  

Mouth guards are required for each player.

Once thunder or lightning occurs, games must be stopped.  Coaches, players, referees and spectators will wait in their car for 20 minutes until we can resume our game. If thunder and lightning continues, games will be canceled.  

RJS liability insurance will cover expenses that your primary insurance will not cover.  Under all circumstances, our liability insurance does not cover COVID 19 (Coronavirus Disease) outbreaks.  If your player(s) or any member of your household contracts COVID 19, Robert Jacobson Sports will not be held responsible and no claims can be made against our coaches, organization or owners.

Our number one concern is safety! Our USA Football certified coaches will teach all aspects of the Shoulder Tackling System developed by the Seattle Seahawks which is mandated by USA Football. Weight limits for each position are also implemented by our football league to protect all players.

Practices will start with 5 evenings per week, for the first two weeks of training.  Once school starts, teams will practice 3 times per week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday). Most games will be played on weekends. Practices will be on the Ardsley High School practice field starting at 6PM.  Once Day Light Saving ends, practices will start earlier than 6PM.

Teams will play against other towns during the season. Home games will be played on the Ardsley High School football field on Sunday mornings. Away games will be at different towns and the day and time can vary.

Players will receive some equipment including shoulder pads, game jersey, and integrated football pants. Players will need their own helmet, practice pants, practice jersey, mouth guard, cleats, rib protector and other optional equipment.

*We will have a helmet and uniform fitting during our concussion and parent symposium.

Must Read:  Initial Cost: $200 deposit will be necessary when registering and reserving your roster spot.  All additional expenses will be divided amongst the players.  The more players we have the less expensive the program will be.  Expenses will cover field usage, coaches’ fees, league fees, referees’ fees, equipment fees, uniform fees, insurance, and other expenses associated with the league.
